SIXTH FORM ADMISSIONS :
Bishop Douglass Sixth Form is an inclusive Sixth Form that has learning pathways at post-16 for all ability ranges. To follow a Level 3 AS/A/BTec pathway students must have 5A*-C grades at GCSE level. Courses with GCSE equivalence, such as BTecs will count as ONE qualification and not the number of GCSEs they are equivalent to. A number of Level 3 courses require students to have at least a C grade in English Language or Mathematics; further information about these courses can be found within the 'Sixth Form Curriculum' booklet available from the school. We strongly advise that students opting for Mathematics/Chemistry/Physics/Biology have achieved a B grade in GCSE Maths or Additional/Triple Sciences, however, we will also consider the student's prior attainment and circumstances when assessing their suitability for these courses.
Application forms should be printed, filled in and returned to the Admissions Secretary with address as above
Internal Candidates (Students currently at Bishop Douglass)
External Candidates (Students applying from other UK schools)
Overseas Candidates (Students newly arrived in the UK)
IN-YEAR ADMISSIONS :
In-Year admissions take place when for example a child moves home and changes catchment areas or when arriving from abroad.
For all enquiries please contact Roxanne Coll on 020 8815 5029 directly.
