Bishop Douglass Day

Please enter an introduction for your news story here.

On the 16th November we celebrated our first ever Bishop Douglass Day. Pupils had Mass led by our school Chaplain Father Kevin and Fathers Tony and Peter. We were also joined by Canon Mehall. Pupils were given a special roasted lunch in celebration and were able to join together in Module 5 to reflect on their personal development, the history of Bishop Douglass and Catholic emancipation in the 18th and 19th century. We were delighted that Mr Golle has also painted a portrait of Bishop John Douglass which was blessed in the service.
