Two recent football matches saw Bishop Douglass’ Year 7 team playing local rival school, Christ’s College Finchley. The result, all in the twos - 2-0 twice in the space of 2 days. The Year 7s played their last game off the season and were delighted to finish with a win. In other news, Year 7’s previous league games saw one loss and a draw.

The Year 10/11 team then made the walk down to Christ’s College to play their second league game of the season and were looking to emulate Year 7’s success. They went 1-0 up early in the first half through a goal from Destiny but then looked shaky at the beginning of the second half. They not only managed to hold on to the win, but with a little late drama from Carla, ended up doubling their lead in the last second of the game to finish as 2-0 winners. Sophia received player of the match and Eliza made a great debut for the team.
