Ryan visited our school to deliver engaging talks and discussins to a cohort of Year 8 pupils, sharing stories of his career journey, the process of his transition from being a pupil to a professional basketball player and inspiring the next generation with tales of hard work, resilience and perseverance. Ryan encouraged pupils to persevere through difficult times, regardless of which career path they choose.

 A selection of pupils also engaged in a free-throw challenge during the lunch period!

It was a fantastic event and great to see our pupils engaged in lively discussion with Ryan about their future career pathways. We would like to extend our thanks to Ryan for his interesting talk. 

A big well done to Bishop Douglass pupil Michael for putting up a good fight against Ryan in the free-throw challenge. Unfortunately, he lost marginally but displayed a good performance! Perhaps a young budding basketballer in our midst?
