Admission Arrangements 2021/2022
Applications for entrance to Year 7 in September 2021.
To apply for a place at Bishop Douglass School please complete the following documents:
1. A Supplementary Information Form which must be returned to the school by Friday 30th October 2020 (for Foundation place applications under criteria 1 to 6 of the School's Admission Policy). Completed forms should be sent to:

2. A Minister or Faith Leader's Declaration of Support Application if you are applying for a Foundation place under criteria 5 or 6

3. A Common Application Form (CAF) which must be returned to your local council. Where possible you should make this application online at http://www.eadmissions.org.uk. The deadline for online applications is 31st October 2020.
Determined Admission Arrangements Notice 2021/2022
In accordance with Regulation 17 of the School Admissions Regulations 2012, admission arrangements must be formally determined by the responsible admission authority.
The Governing Body of Bishop Douglass Catholic School hereby formally determine the admission arrangements for the academic year of entry 2021/2022. No changes were made to the admission arrangements from the previous year with the exception of statutory dates.
In accordance with Regulation 21 of the Regulations and Section 88 of the SSFA 1998, any person or body who considers that any maintained school or Academy's arrangements are unlawful, or not compliant with the Code or relevant law relating to admissions, can make an objection to the Schools Adjudicator.
In-Year admissions take place when for example a child moves home and changes catchment areas or when arriving from abroad.
