Bishop Douglass Catholic School is a mixed, independent Academy within the Cardinal Hume Academies Trust and is comprised of approximately 1000 students, aged 11 - 18. Your passion for English and your excellent subject knowledge will enable you to make a significant contribution to the English department. Our GCSE results are significantly above the national average. A level English is also taught. You will be able to motivate and teach pupils across the age and ability range and be committed to raising attainment. The post would suit a committed individual who wants to make a difference and help all our students to achieve the highest possible standards. NQTs are welcome to apply.
