Teacher of Science

Bishop Douglass Catholic School is a mixed, independent Academy within the Cardinal Hume Academies Trust and is comprised of approximately 900 students, aged 11 - 18. The school is in pursuit of excellence and in 2019 the GCSE results placed us 7th in the country for our Progress 8 score.

Your passion for Science and your excellent subject knowledge will enable you to make a significant contribution to the Science department.  You will be able to motivate and teach pupils across the age and ability range and be committed to raising attainment.  You will be joining a highly successful department that offers both Triple and Combined Science at GCSE as well as popular A Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Physics in the Sixth Form and Level 3 BTEC in Applied Science. The post would suit a committed individual who wants to make a difference and help all our students to achieve the highest possible standards. NQTs are welcome to apply.  A responsibility allowance may be available for an experienced candidate.
