Fun in Food Tech

Our Food Technology pupils have worked hard already this term!

For Open Evening, pupils made filled bread rolls and cupcakes and discussed what we study in Food technology with prospective parents and primary pupils, which was very well received. The Year 6s certainly were excited about what they could create in the kitchen!

In Cooking Club, we made Cheesecakes. They were delicious!

During our lessons, pupils undertook a cake investigation. Pupils made their own cakes and then carried out an investigation, tasting cakes with missing ingredients and guess what each cake was missing. This is to help them understand the importance of different ingredients in cake.

Finally, Ioan in Year 10 baked some amazing bread rolls - they were incredible!
